#DontBeaPriestBeaCM

We have voted for you to be a CM, not a priest. I was shocked to learn that Andhra Pradesh's Government has spent rupees of 4 thousand crores on Krishna Pushkaralu. What do you think? Whose money was that? That was not at all your money. That wasn't only Hindu's money. That was also Muslims, Christians, and many others' money. Then, how can you spend the taxpayers' money on a specific Hindu ritual? One should keep all their spiritual beliefs at home before occupying a CM's position. Many villages like ours still need roads, and the government is spending a lot of money to promote spiritual baths. We got to see on RTC buses saying, "Come and take dips in Pushkaralu and wash away your sins." How many dips in Godavari Pushkaralu will bring back the lives of more than 29 people who were killed in the stampede soon after you have left the place very safely with your loved family? Who are you to promote a spiritual bath? Please be a CM, not a priest. I...

A Forgotten Village

I belong to #AForgottenVillage called Pulleticheruvupalli, Vayalpad Mandal, Chittoor District. Yes, our village is completely forgotten by our government. We still don't have roads to our Village. Despite the fact that our very own MLA has been occupying the Chief Minister's chair for around three years, and the current CM is also from our district. He has been CM for about 12 long years. What is it all about? How do we look at it? Even After 69 long years of Independence, there are underprivileged villages like ours. Yes, underprivileged, while the rest of India is moving towards metro and bullet trains, reaching space, we from #AForgottenVillage are struggling to walk on the ground so severely. A good road to the outer world is still a dream in the 21st Century for us. How paradoxical it is in our country as every leader/politician pities the conditions of villages and makes big promises. But, on the ground, something hardly happens. I tweeted to #APCM @ncbn and Ne...

చిన్నన్న My Farming Mentor

Those were my pre-schooling days spending in my village and farm. There used be one person working in my farm and he is Chinnanna my farming mentor. He told me many stories and taught me how to do farming works. One day I’ve killed one small ant which was on my hand. He told me that I would go to hell as I’ve killed the ant and started describing the hell. I was scared off and kept on crying. Then he himself gave me a solution. He asked me to go home and take bath and offer a coconut to the God asking for forgiveness. I went to my mamma and told her with tears that I wanted to take bath again. She started laughing at me for my childishness. But, I was very adamant. At last, she bathed me and called Chinnanna to climb the coconut tree which was nice and tall for the coconut. After around 27 years, neither the coconut tree exists nor Chinnanna exists. Coconut tree died naturally, but not Chinnanna. He committed suicide recently. That made me to recall those memories spent ...

WHAT IS YOGA FOR YOU?

For me yoga isn’t different from my life in total and as well as in pieces. I never wish to preach without practice. I can’t compromise in it. Since, I’ve started practicing yoga lot of transformation happened. From suppression to transcendence. Being very regular to sadhana (Practice). Being at ease all the time. What is yoga for me? Yoga is a hobby for me. It is a trance in which I feel completely overwhelming. It is a solace to all my psychic wounds. Yoga is like mamma’s lap for me. Whenever there are any issues bothering me, I get lot of moral support from my sadhana. Mamma knows what I want and when. I just start my sadhana without any intention, simply without any intention. At the end what I find is understanding, the better understanding.  Yoga is just not about 8 lymbs for me. It is not like commandments to me. It is just like the way it is. No fight, no escapism, simply the truth minute by minute. What is Yoga for me? Initially, yoga was a way to do lot of Asanas and achi...
